I began my boxing journey at age 20, training with William Eaves, a Karate expert from Fayette, Alabama. With Eaves in my corner, I competed in more than 20 tough-man fights, beating some of the best and toughest fighters in the Southeast. Eventually, I began training with Jay Deas of Northport, AL, continuing to fight in tough man competitions. After competing in more than 50 tough man fights, I turned my attention to amateur boxing.

Competing primarily with USA Boxing, I fought in 26 bouts, amassing a record of 22-4. In 2010 I had an injury and had some personal issues and quit boxing for the next seven years. In 2017, I jumped back into the ring for one more amateur fight, losing that bout due to a nose bleed.

At that time, I was blessed to begin working with Seth Leonhard at his gym in Fayette, Alabama. After training together for six months, I decided to turn pro in 2018. My first professional fight was against Andre Brewer at the Trotter Convention Center in Columbus, Mississippi. The fight ended in him quitting on the stool in between rounds. Since then, I have accumulated a record of 6-1-2 as a Cruiserweight, and I am currently ranked in the top 20 achieving a high ranking of 15. I am the reigning Alabama Cruiserweight State Champion after winning the belt in a first-round knockout of Jayvone Dafney in July 2021.
